Second Copy 2000

I’d like to introduce to you, our recently released backup software,
Second Copy 2000. It is the major upgrade to award winning software
Second Copy 97. Among a few other awards, Second Copy has been honored
by a 5-star rating by ZDNet. In addition, Intel(r) InBusiness(tm)
Storage Station is being shipped with Second Copy as part of Intel's
backup solution.
Please don't be fooled by Second Copy 2000's simple interface.
We kept it simple for the 90% of the people who don't like to worry
about backups and are not so computer literate. The basic interface
Provides all important functions to perform a reliable backup for them.
However, there are many advanced features kept out of the way for the
advanced computer users, by avoiding clutter and complicated interface.
These advanced features are well designed and documented.
The following is a short list of new features:
- Password protected profiles
- Organize profiles in groups
- Create Second Copy setup disk for reinstallation
- Detect file deletions during synchronization
- Span files across multiple disks
- Ignore files older than a certain date
- Skip profiles based on Windows Hardware profiles
- Auto log-in to remote system with Dial-up networking
- Run a program before and after running the profile
- Skip profile on designated days of the week
- Set compression ratio
- Built-in Zip viewer to view, compress and extract any zip file
- Tip of the day
What is a til-de?
According to the dictionary a til-de is: a mark placed over the letter
to denote the sound (as in Spanish sen~ior) or the mark ~ used in logic
and math to indicate negation.
